Andrew Hrsto understands what a home can change in a person’s life. He grew up in Cabramatta in Sydney’s west, where he learned early that opportunity rarely arrives on its own, and that it has to be built, patiently and deliberately.
More than twenty years ago, Andrew founded ALAND with a mission to build quality homes that help individuals and families achieve their dreams through property ownership. The company has since grown into one of the state’s most trusted property and construction businesses, and its success has given Andrew the means to pursue something he had wanted from the very beginning: a way to give back to the communities that shaped him.
The ALAND Foundation is that answer. Through partnerships with organisations such as Habitat for Humanity Australia and Foodbank NSW & ACT, the Foundation provides financial assistance, pro bono support and practical, hands-on help to those tackling housing need, expanding access to education and strengthening health and social welfare across Sydney and regional New South Wales.
For Andrew, the Foundation carries the same conviction that built ALAND: that a home is where opportunity begins, and that the door should be open to the people who need it most.
